DRE has a new Facebook tab specifically for our Latin American customers. DRE’s Facebook page now incorporates a personalized experience for our Spanish speaking audience.
“DRE’s Latin America Tab enables two-way communication between Spanish speaking visitors and DRE staff fluent in Spanish,” said Trish Dever, DRE social media manager. “Answering queries, providing solutions to problems and giving valuable promotions via Facebook, a globally recognized social media network, strengthens existing relationships and develops new opportunities.”
Because our Latin American clients comprise 40 percent of DRE’s total International customers, we want to provide an additional mode of communication on a worldwide social media platform. On the DRE Latin America tab, visitors can submit information to be contacted directly by a Spanish-speaking DRE sales representative or keep up with the latest news and happenings at the company.
“Thousands of DRE’s Latino clients are already following DRE’s primary Facebook page, and they can now easily access the Latin American tab with just the click of a mouse,” said Kary Van Arsdale Tanner, director of international sales. “Additionally, the tab highlights products that are commonly requested by our Spanish-speaking customers.”
DRE currently has six employees who speak Spanish, two of whom are native Spanish speakers. Renata Wilkins, from Quito, Ecuador, and Francisco Cano from San Cristobal, Venezuela have been helping DRE’s international clients for over a year. Francisco is a World Trade Center certified International Commerce Specialist along with international salesman David Hardison and director Kary VanArsdale Tanner.
“DRE is now better equipped than ever to deliver a high level of service to our customers, regardless of facility type, time zone, or language spoken,” Van Arsdale Tanner said. “Our level of responsiveness to our Latin American clients has been enhanced through the recent addition of two native Spanish speakers from Venezuela and Ecuador, bringing the total number of Spanish speakers at DRE to six.”
